Shortly after graduating high school, Israel enlisted in the U.S. Army.  He rose in rank to Sergeant United and Squad Leader as he served in two deployments to Iraq from 2005-2006 and 2007-2008.  He encompassed leadership skills as he taught soldiers Tactical Training, Close Quarter Battle, Marksmanship, and other structured training.  As well as ensuring soldier compliance with standards and mentoring squad members on both personal and professional issues.  Israel credits his time in the military as the foundation for him providing respectable, quality service as an stand-up businessman.

Since his time in the military, Israel has maintained a career in law enforcement.  He began that career as a fulltime deputy for the LaSalle County Sheriff's Office in 2013.  After dedicating 4 years to LCSO, he maintained his LEO status as a Reserve Officer for the Encinal Police Dept., as well as a self-employed Process Server. He later continued his entrepreneurial venture by starting his own private investigation business. He continues to serve public interest in LaSalle County as a Reserve Deputy.
